About the Job – Electrical Automation (E&A) Engineer

Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Automation (E&A) Engineer to join our team at Nestlé Waters. Your role will be to provide support for Nestlé’s Manufacturing Execution Systems and manage all electrical and automation professional and technical activities in line with corporate guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the company SHE policy, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Implement Nestlé Engineering Compliance Assessment standards related to the electrical and automation chapter.

  • Maintain detailed records of all automation software applications (PLC, HMI, MES, VFD configurations, etc.) and their current versions.

  • Identify, check, and tune critical control loops in accordance with process requirements and GI-241.22.

  • Manage the instrumentation calibration program.

  • Identify and manage obsolescence of process control equipment (PLCs, HMIs, industrial software, VFDs, etc.) and implement lifecycle plans.

  • Participate in Problem Solving (BDA and GSTD) to prevent recurring unplanned stoppages.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems during breakdowns.

  • Transfer knowledge to AWG teams.

Requirements

  • Saudi National

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the automation field.

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and manuals to assemble parts, machines, and equipment.

  • Experience using hand and power tools, soldering tools, and fault-testing equipment.

  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, especially Siemens.

  • Good knowledge of communication systems (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.).

  • Solid computer skills.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to program, install, and commission new automation projects.

  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematic diagrams.

  • Knowledge of electronic and instrumentation components, calibration, and installation.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.

  • Preferably experience in FMCG, especially PET lines (SIDEL, SACMI, ACMI machines).

  • المشاركة في حل المشكلات (BDA و GSTD) لمنع تكرار التوقفات غير المخطط لها.

  • استكشاف الأعطال الكهربائية والميكانيكية أثناء الأعطال ومعالجتها.

  • نقل المعرفة إلى فرق AWG.

  • بكالوريوس في الإلكترونيات أو الميكاترونكس أو الهندسة الكهربائية.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال الأتمتة.

  • معرفة واسعة في الهندسة الكهربائية والميكانيكية والتركيب والصيانة والإصلاحات واستكشاف الأخطاء.

  • القدرة على قراءة المخططات والرسومات واللوائح لاستخدامها في تركيب وتجميع الآلات والمعدات.

  • خبرة في استخدام الأدوات اليدوية والكهربائية، وأدوات اللحام، وأجهزة اختبار الأعطال.

  • فهم قوي لبرمجة PLC خصوصًا Siemens.

  • معرفة جيدة بأنظمة الاتصال (Profibus، Profinet، Modbus، إلخ).

  • مهارات حاسوبية قوية.

  • قدرة عالية على استكشاف مشاكل المعدات واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.

  • القدرة على برمجة مشاريع جديدة وتركيبها وتشغيلها.

  • إجادة قراءة المخططات الكهربائية.

  • معرفة بمكونات الإلكترونيات والأجهزة وطرق تركيبها ومعايرتها.
