Role Summary

  • Provide design services from project inception to completion, helping clients choose materials and furnishings.

  • Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and client expectations.

  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships, promoting products and services.

  • Place orders for materials and oversee installation of design elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine client goals and project requirements.

  • Prepare final plans using computer applications (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator).

  • Specify materials and furnishings: lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, plumbing fixtures.

  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals while developing the business.

  • Set project costs and fees according to budget.

  • Share product knowledge with customers to encourage sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or similar design software.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
