Job Description

Your activities Material requirement Planning (MRP) activities for assigned products/raw materials via ERP Ensure the availability of minimum stock of regular materials Ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs Assist the receiving department in evaluating new materials and resolving any discrepancies that are related to the purchase order Review end user requests for new stock or non-stock items and create material master records as applicable via ERP Pre-alert reporting such as slow-moving items reports, scorecard reports and zero stock reports Coordinates with Shutdown Production, Planners and Materials & logistics responsible in the preparation of materials requirements Review and update material management and control procedures, policies and work instructions to maintain relevancy and accuracy Monitor and eliminate absolute items and support demand forecasting to avoid any lack of material
