Job Description

The position requires the provision of expert transport planning solutions, a thorough knowledge of transport related policy, regulation standards and best practice. Undertake all transport modeling requirements necessary for the assigned project/projects. Missions/Main Duties It is expected that you will have experience in the preparation of transport plans, transport modelling, Traffic Impact study, feasibility studies, road safety audit studies, transport scheme reports, and transport/traffic appraisal with knowledge of relevant transport/traffic policy and standards. You should be able to organize and manage the collection of raw transport and traffic data. Analyze and interpret data findings to provide appropriate transport and traffic solutions. You will be required to have a strong knowledge of the principles of strategic transport planning software (TransCAD) modeling, and prior experience of using a range of transport specific and associated software. You will support a team of consultants working on a variety of urban planning and industrial planning tasks. Liaise with the Ministry of Transport and other government agencies as required.
