Job Description

Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment. Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations. Maintain a reliable and competitive approved supplier network to support the strategy for all critical components and commodities at the best practical cost and within the guidelines of price, service, quality, and delivery. Strategically rationalize and supervise the supplier base; develop key supplier alliances; implement, monitor, and maintain effective procurement programs; expand or consolidate the supplier base as needed. Actively reduce non-value-added time within ARM as well as within the process of our suppliers, drive lead-times down where possible. Develop procurement strategic plans for those commodities that are assigned as primary responsibilities. Initiate purchasing guidelines and policies to ensure compliance with company QMS. Oversee inventory accuracy and documentation. Maintain dynamic of product mix through analysis and forecast.
