Job Description

A Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Micro tunneling (MT) Engineer with a strong background in Civil/Mechanical/Geotechnical Civil engineering with Proven, hands-on experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and micro tunneling (trenchless methods, such as pipe jacking or Direct Pipe) in oil and gas pipelines, water, telecommunications. Responsibilities: To oversee and Design/ planning: Perform engineering calculations for detailed HDD and Micro-tunneling designs as required (if required). Review project specifications, drawings, schedules, and (Appr. cost estimates if required) Develop comprehensive project plans, including bore paths and contingency strategies as per project requirements. Site supervision and execution: Monitor daily construction activities and adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. Manage and plan subcontractors, and required equipment from mobilization and demobilization to execute the jobs. Act as the primary point of contact with Project Managers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
